TCS has developed a software " Core System Integrator" with the assistance of our staff . By this all our postal operations and functions are integrated and Public can avail their facilities in any counter. They need not go to every counter for every services we, the Postal department provided.
This has been tested for the last six months in Mysore division as a Pilot project and now implemented in Mysore Division with effect from 01.10.2015. This service is connected with the Server in Mumbai.
Importantly, Customers will get delivery status of their posts or parcels on their mobile phones or can track status online. All data will be stored at the Central Server in Mumbai.
This shows that Postal Savings bank functioning shall be separated from "Post bank of India " ie Payment bank of DOP.
