SPECIAL CL TO FLOOD AFFECTED AREA STAFFS

அன்பார்ந்த  தோழர்களே தோழியர்களே  வணக்கம்!.

வெள்ளம்  பாதித்த பகுதிகளில் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட தோழர் தோழியர்களுக்கு  நமது மாநில சங்கம் SPECIAL CL  கேட்டு    CHIEF PMG  அவர்களிடம்   கடிதம்  கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது  அவரும்  தருகிறேன்  என  கூறியுள்ளார்.

ஆர்டர் வந்தவுடன் தற்போது லீவ் கொடுத்துள்ளவர்கள்   SPECIAL CL  ஆக CONVERT  செய்துகொள்ளலாம்.

Sub: Request to issue orders for granting Special Casual Leave to those who could not able to

         attend duty owing to failure of transport facilities because of flood situation – Reg.                                                                               ….

You may aware that, there is flood situation in many areas throughout Tamilnadu due to torrential rain for the past three days and the areas like Chennai, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur and Cuddalore Districts are the worst affected.

You may aware, due to water logged,

i) many flight  services are cancelled

ii) many long  train services are cancelled

iii) local train services are cancelled in many area

iv) Chennai is severed by, in road links even on National Highways

v)  University and  School  examinations are cancelled by State Govt.

vi) Schools  and Colleges are closed for the past three days due to non availability of

     transportation

vii) Many roads are washed away or submerged during the past three days

viii) water logged in many areas in Chennai , Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur and Cuddalore Dists.

     and  boat  services are introduced by the State Govt.

ix) National Disaster Management team, Fire Services, Police, Local body authorities are

     in full swing  on rescue  operations

x) the Dist. Collector , Chennai  has declared flood warning yesterday due to release of

     surplus water from Chembarambakkam Lake and people who reside in low lever area

     are like Velachery, Saidapet etc are now vacated from their  houses.

xi)  Yesterday, Tamilnadu Chief Minister called on the Army for rescue and relief operations.

Hence it is needless to say that the  staff working  at these areas are suffering much and  could not able to attend duty since Monday and they may be granted with Special Casual Leave, based on the  standing orders on this subject, the  powers of which has been delegated  with the heads of the Circle.
